teacher strike day

On 29 of May teacher went on strike the reason why is because of the workload, the pay for teachers aren't getting enough to support them and hardly eny young people are teachers.

I agree because we need to give kids the best education they can get and teachers work hardc onley to get a bad pay and a sore back

Otaki College Science Road Show

The science roadshow was setup in Otaki College.
My favourite exhibition was the shadow one I can’t
remember the name of it but you go into a small room they
close a curtain and flash a very bright light.
When the light has flashed you turn around quickly and you
can see your shadow. Some people did poses but some people
just stood there. I didn’t find the other exhibition very
interesting but they were cool there were so many to go
to and chose from. Overall I think it was a cool experience
and a very fun day.

Commemoration Day

On Monday 11th of March i attended the Commemoration day.

Visitors preparation-

We had all been seated and then music started multiple people were in the corner of the entrance of the hall they all had an instrument and played the navy sound track.

after they did the sound track we all stood up to greet the people coming in when they had all come in and sat down in chairs we all sat down as well then we got told about the history of the navy and when it all happend. there was a prayer for all those that died in the navy.

it was nice to be told about the navy and about all those bad conditions that people went through for the navy.         

sentences

DHT has just learnt about sentences and preposition. we learnt that short sentences can have powerful meanings and can say a lot even tow they are short. in a short sentence you need a subject, name noun and a thing or object. you need adverbs a preposition and verbs. add all those things together and make a short sentence.
